As excited as I am to finally see the Russell-Brand-character-from-Forgetting-Sarah-Marshall spin-off realized, I can’t help but smell an odor of “I’ve-seen-this-all-before.” Nothing particularly stands out to me about this trailer other than the fact that Judd Apatow produced it and that that’s supposed to mean something. I mean, sure: Jonah Hill is always brilliant and the Brand himself is a comic genius, but based on what I’m seeing, I’m just not feelin’ it.

I agree and disagree… but I also think we’ve seen way too many movies to “like” anything Apatow comes out with anymore.
